    Open the Google Map site on the map you want to save,
    Hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard (upper right corner of your keyboard.),
    Press Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Paint
    When Paint opens to a new canvas; press ctrl V which will paste the screen shot to Paint;
    Use the select tool to crop the map from the screen image,
    Copy the cropped map, paste to a new canvas, save as a jpeg
